Aniplex announced “crime and rescue” mobile RPG INFINITY SOULS ends service on December 26, which is just six months after the game launched in Japan.
Aniplex did not state a reason for the game’s end of service, but it may be assumed that INFINITY SOULS did not perform to the company’s expectations. All in-game purchases have been disabled starting today, November 25. Unused in-game currency is eligible for a refund this December.
Starting December 26, users may apply for refunds for unused in-game paid currency. To successfully file a refund application, users must submit information pertaining to their INFINITY SOULS ID including the transfer ID. The refund application period ends on February 28, 2023 according to the official website.
Here’s an overview of the game via Gematsu:
As network technology develops and progresses, a new form of crime has been born called “PSYber crimes.”
It is a dangerous assault on people that erodes and manipulates their minds and memories. And hidden in these shadows exists a Hollow.
Confront these PSYber crimes. Follow the leads. Rescue the victims. An organization was formed for that very purpose.
The “Communication Information Guardian”—C.I.G.
As C.I.G Branch Commanders, your role is to prevent PSYber crimes and rescue victims from danger. Commanders must recruit members, train them, and lead them in battle. This is the mission entrusted to you.
