Sega Sammy released its business overview report for fiscal year ending this past March, revealing Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio titles surpassed 19.8 million units sold.
The sales figure accounts for physical shipments, digital copies, and free-to-play downloads for all of the studio’s titles. These titles include the Yakuza / Like a Dragon series, Judgment series, and Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise.
Multiple new games are in development at the studio including Like a Dragon 8 and Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name. The next major Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio release, Like a Dragon Ishin, launches February 21, 2023 across PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
