Koei Tecmo and Team NINJA announced the Nioh series surpassed seven million copies sold worldwide.
The series sales figures include physical shipments and digital copies sold for the original Nioh title, Nioh 2, and the remastered releases according to Koei Tecmo. One million units were sold since September 2021.
To celebrate the milestone, Nioh 2 Remastered will be a select PlayStation Plus title for November 2022. PlayStation Plus members may redeem the game starting November 1, 2022.
Team NINJA’s next game, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, launches March 3, 2023 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
