    Tekken 7 patch 5.00 is available now with balance adjustments

    A number of adjustments and new features added.

    Bandai Namco released patch 5.00 for Tekken 7 with various character balance adjustments and new features.

    Originally revealed at EVO 2022, the new update for Tekken 7 was paired with the announcement of Tekken World Tour Finals for February 4-5, 2023. A new Tekken game was seemingly teased after the reveal.

    Tekken 7 is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. Patch notes for Tekken 7 update 5.00 are available below via Bandai Namco:

    We’ve adjusted the performance of all characters’ moves.
    Adjustment policy
    Ver. 5.00 is focused on character balance and implements adjustments to close the gap between each character’s strength.
    We also implemented new features, “wall crush inducing hit” and “wall crush inducing guard” to give new elements to all characters and create a new element of gamesmanship alongside the wall.

    NOTE: Recorded battles from previous versions cannot be replayed after this update due to the adjustments on the performance of the characters’ moves.
    Addition of the network information display for PS4, Xbox One, and STEAM
    We added a display of network information on the online battle screen.
    In addition to the existing “antenna icon”, “Ping/RTT”, “Delay Frames”, and “Rollback Frames” are now displayed.
    Improved overall stability for PS4®, Xbox One, and STEAM
    Some system-related bugs have been fixed.
