Ray’z Arcade Chronology releases on March 9, 2023

    R-GEAR finally surfaces.

Taito announced shoot ’em up collection Ray’z Arcade Chronology releases on March 9, 2023 for PS4 and Switch in Japan. Pre-orders begin on July 12 across participating retailers in Japan.

To coincide with Amazon Prime Day, Ray’z Arcade Chronology Limited Edition pre-orders will be live from July 12 through July 13 on Amazon Japan. These special Prime Day copies include a downloadable copy of R-GEAR, the cancelled successor of RayForce. Due to the game’s cancellation, only the first stage of R-GEAR is playable.

As previously announced, the shoot ’em up collection features RayForce, RayStorm, and RayCrisis. In addition, RayStorm Neo-HD and RayCrisis HD versions are available with high-resolution support in the collection. Players may enjoy five different versions of the shoot ’em up games. With a Prime Day copy, a total of 6 titles are available thanks to the inclusion of R-GEAR.

Lastly, a western release of Rayz Arcade Chronology has not been announced.
