Studio Trigger (Kill la Kill, Promare) announced today at Anime Expo 2022 that a brand-new Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt project is in the works. A teaser trailer was shown during the Anime Expo 2022 panel, but has not been publicly released at this time.
The trailer shows the text “NEW PANTY & STOCKING” alongside a new animation. Details regarding writing, cast, and staff were not revealed.
The first season of Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt premiered back in October 2010 (Thanks, Crunchyroll).
