The Squid Research Lab introduces high-powered blaster weapons, another returning weapon category found in Splatoon 3.
Blaster weapons eject ink that explodes at a distance and allows Splatoon players to combat opponents who hide behind cover. The Squid Research Lab refers to this tactic as “totally splatting campers who are hiding behind walls.”
Two weapons were showcased, the Range Blaster and the Luna Blaster. The Range Blaster is a powerful, slow-firing weapon that fully coats an opponent in ink. On the other hand, the Luna Blaster is a rapid-firing weapon that excels in close range combat.

With a rapid fire rate and explosive ink coverage, the Luna Blaster is great for close combat. And it's see-through! The new design is so hot that it’s hard to find at stores. #Splatoon3 pic.twitter.com/kN3gU7pB5y
