PlayStation will not attend Gamescom 2022

Another major company misses Gamescom 2022 in Germany.

Another company will be absent from Gamescom 2022 alongside Nintendo. PlayStation released a statement through German publication Games Wirtschaft, which confirms the company will not attend Gamescom this August.

Gamescom 2022 is set for August 24 through 28 as a hybrid event with an on-site convention in Cologne, Germany and online showcases. Unfortunately, it appears many gaming publishers will not participate in this year. The current list of publishers not attending Gamescom 2022 include Nintendo, Activision Blizzard, Take-Two, and PlayStation.

A slim number of partners such as Bandai Namco, Koch Media, and THQ Nordic still plan to attend Gamescom 2022.
