Netflix and Bioware announced Dragon Age: Absolution, a new animated series set in the Dragon Age universe. Dragon Age: Absolution takes place in the empire of Tevinter with a all-new new cast of characters. The animated series premieres in December 2022.

A new Dragon Age game is in development at Bioware titled Dragon Age: Dreadwolf. The subtitle refers to Solas, ancient elven god known to many as the Dread Wolf.
