    Tekken 7 surpasses 9 million copies sold

    At Tekken World Tour 2022, Bandai Namco announced Tekken 7 surpassed 9 million copies sold! The total sales include physical shipments and digital copies sold across PS4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. Bandai Namco thanks fans and competitors for supporting the game over the past 5 years.

    The popular fighting game first released in arcades on March 18th, 2015. The console and PC release followed up two years later on June 2nd, 2017, featuring content from the major Fated Retribution arcade update. The update featured new stages, items, and characters such as Akuma from Street Fighter. The game would go on to receive multiple seasons of DLC and updates. One such DLC even introduced Noctis from Final Fantasy XV as a playable fighter.

    Tekken 7 is available now for PS4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. Tekken 7 collaboration DLC is available now for Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown.
