Type-Moon released update 1.2.4 for Melty Blood: Type Lumina on PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam. Melty Blood: Type Lumina update 1.2.4 applies various bug fixes to the game alongside characters adjustments. These adjustments target Aoko Aozaki and Mario Gallo Bestino.

Jump
- The priority for commands has been raised, making it easer to initiate a low aerial dash when employing jumping attacks, ↑diagonal+A+B, or other similar attacks. (Command priorities remain the same for jump cancels.)
High Jump ↓ ↑
- The priority for commands has been raised, making it easer to initiate a low aerial dash when employing jumping attacks, ↑diagonal+A+B, or other similar attacks. (Command priorities remain the same for jump cancels.)
- The time to high jump has been extended to the setting prior to version 1.17, making it easier to input.

Commands have been reverted to their setings prior to version 1.16, making them less likely to explode.
