Otome RPG The Silent Kingdom surpasses Switch Kickstarter goal

Lucky Cat announced that otome RPG The Silent Kingdom reached the Switch stretch goal of 50,000 € (roughly $53,566) on Kickstarter! The new game will be ported to Switch as it approaches the 60,000 € stretch goal of Japanese battle voices. Hopefully, The Silent Kingdom reaches the last goal for some added Japanese flair to the RPG. Read up on what the game’s about below:

The Silent Kingdom is a story-driven, otome RPG where the player’s choices and interactions with other characters set the narrative. Made by a single Spanish dev (Lucky Cat) on RPG Maker MV, with plans to be remade on Unity.

Follow the dark tale of a princess who must corrupt her own soul in order to save her kingdom, reaping death and sorrow along the path.

    • Available in both English and Spanish.

    • A main character that’s defined yet mouldable.

    • Optional albeit important and well developed romances.

    • Roleplay experience where choices matter.

    • Anime style art.

An early access Steam beta test of the game’s first chapter is planned for end of 2022/early 2023, followed by an early access release. Development of The Silent Kingdom includes the game being remade in the Unity engine. The full game aims to release across Switch and PC via Steam in 2024. New DLC will be developed and released afterwards for players seeking more in their otome journey.
