Star Fox artist Takaya Imamura wants Star Fox Zero ported to Switch

On the 6th Anniversary of Star Fox Zero, series artist Takaya Imamura wants the game ported over to Switch. Imamura via Twitter expressed his desire to see the game on Switch along with creating a new animation for the port. This new animation would serve as a sequel to the 14 and a half minute animation he created for the original Wii U release of Star Fox Zero.

Imamura left Nintendo in April 2021 but Star Fox is still one of his passion projects. He hopes that Nintendo approaches him for the port and would gladly like to work on it. Hopefully, Nintendo hears him and the fans out as many haven’t had the opportunty to play the game. A Switch port could also fix some of the game’s lingering issues and generate even more interest in the Star Fox IP.
