PS5 system update 22.01-05.02.00 is out now, improves system performance

PlayStation released PS5 system update 22.01-05.02.00 worldwide. The new system update is nearly 1 GB in file size and improves overall system performance. Features such as Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) are still pending.
