A new trademark filing surfaced in Japan (via @renka_schedule), signalling a possible return of the Tactics Ogre franchise! Square Enix trademarked Tactics Ogre: Reborn in Japan back on March 31st. The trademark filing was later made public today, April 8th (JST).
Tactics Ogre was previously listed in the infamous GeForce Now leak and it seems like a remaster or remake is on the way. However, fans of the tactical RPG will have to wait for definitive confirmation from Square Enix.
