City Connection and TAKExOFF announced that Cave-developed shoot ’em up Akai Katana is getting a re-release in 2022! TAKExOFF is a new team at City Connection developing shoot ’em up ports on platforms such as Switch. In addition, they’ve worked on Deathsmiles I & II. More details are coming at a later date including more platforms and a release window/date for Akai Katana.
