Put the bite on the monstrous dino-spider hybrids before they make a meal out of mankind!

What’s enormous, has eight legs, and is coming to consoles and PC? Spidersaurs! We are proud to announce that Spidersaurs, an original 2D co-op run-‘n’-gun action game, is at last coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, and PC in spring 2022. With even more explosive content and features than the initial 2019 release on Apple Arcade, this version of Spidersaurs will be the definitive version of the game. Check out the announcement trailer here!

Inspired by classic action games and Saturday morning cartoons from days gone by, this original property from the dev team behind Contra 4 pits one or two players against a man-eating, half-spider, half-dinosaur mutant menace — the Spidersaurs! Though originally created by INGESTCorp as a way to solve global hunger, the tangy food source with a bite decides to bite back, so it’s up to punk rocker Victoria and officer-in-training Adrian to run, jump, climb, and shoot their way through multiple levels of over-the-top, high-octane mayhem. Armed with an assortment of character-specific weapons (including Victoria’s Metal Spread and Electronica Chain and Adrian’s Flame Thrower and Rebound Breaker) and special Spidersaur powers, players must navigate the INGESTCorp facility and put a stop to the mindless army of genetically engineered monsters.

Expanding upon its debut release, the console and PC version of Spidersaurs offers several new features: an all-new stage, a new true final boss, a new ending, two new difficulty settings, and two new unlockable modes (arcade mode and speedrun mode). Other tweaks and balance adjustments have also been added, including mid-level checkpoints, rebalanced boss order, and numerous visual improvements. The existing Apple Arcade version of Spidersaurs will be updated with all the new content as well.
