    PSO 2: New Genesis Spring update arrives March 9th, major update set for April 6th

    SEGA announced that the Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis Spring update arrives on March 9th! Spring festivities will be underway soon with new events, weapons, quests, items and much more. Like past seasonal events, Central City and the regions are decorated in appropriate spring bloom. New event guide Xitre makes her debut with the update and players may trade seasonal points for new cosmetics, weapons and gear. The new Spring weapons specialize in Light damage. Players earn seasonal points by completing new weekly and limited time quests as well as defeating seasonal enemies. Some of these enemies include Hululu Rappies! In addition, a new Spring-themed Urgent Quest arrives with new 5* Lumiere weapons to obtain. Spring time is looking busy already within Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis.

    New Spring Scratch Tickets will be introduced featuring brand new cosmetics and updated classics from Phantasy Star Online 2. A limited-time Special Scratch Ticket will be live until April 5th with some familiar gear and attire from Phantasy Star Online 2: Episode 4. Players can pull new royalty attire from the Bright Eminence Scratch Ticket. On March 16th, the new SG Refined Form Scratch Ticket arrives with winning items from the recent item remake survey. The second half of the Spring update arrives on March 23rd with more quests, items and Scratch Tickets. On March 30th, three Revival Scratch Tickets arrive with even more attire to choose from. Players who want to dress in style have plenty of options coming soon.

    On April 6th, a major update arrives featuring a level cap increase to 45, new Photon Arts and 3 new Compound Techniques. New Ranks will be added to all Retem Quests and more High Rank Sector Trials will be introduced. Gigantix enemies are getting a power raise to level 49 for an extra challenge. Additionally, new 5* DOLLS-inspired weapons arrive. New quality of life features are being introduced such as a Mag Jukebox playlist, customizable Photo Room, new Streamer mode and much more.
