Nintendo announced that Earthbound and Earthbound Beginnings (known as Mother 1 and 2 in Japan) will be part of the Nintendo Switch Online NES/SNES library later today. The classic RPGs were released in Japan in 1989 and 1994, with Earthbound released to the west in 1995 and Beginnings not getting a western release till 2015.
