Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury surpasses 1 million retail copies sold in Japan

This past week in Japan, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury surpasses 1 million retail copies sold according to Famitsu! The Switch game reached the million mark just shy of it’s first year anniversary. The current total in Japan as of January 16th is 1,001,389 copies sold. Overall, the entire top 30 best selling games for the week of January 10th – 16th were all on Switch in Japan. The #1 best selling game of the week was Super Mario Party Superstars.
