    ■ The Rumored “Human-Faced Bird”

    Yomawari 3

Rumors of a monster called “Kotori,” a human-faced bird, have circulated the town since long ago. It is said to have special eyes that allow it to observe all of time at once. Watching the town with those eyes, the human-faced bird awaits the arrival of “someone.” Tread carefully in the town at night as not to encounter it.

    ■ Familiar Tools Will Guide You to Memories

When you pick up a tool the protagonist used, you can look back at the memories associated with it.

The small pencil you once used, the old-looking shells you picked up at the beach… No matter how small or insignificant, each tool has a past to be told. Each will remind you of something that happened in the past. Using the hints obtained from tools, head to the locations from your memories. You may be able to remember something even more important.

—A small pencil found in the protagonist’s home. When you pick it up, you will recall a forgotten memory.

—If you visit an area you do not remember, the human-faced bird will block your path. To access it, first find the tool that will help you remember it.

    ■ “Lost Items” Discovered by Your Flashlight

You will discover various “lost items” that will help the protagonist in the town at night.

Pebbles lying on the side of the road, notes written by who knows who… These may be important clues that will help you proceed. Some items can be thrown or given as offerings.

Utilize these lost items and find your memories hidden throughout the town at night.

—A note someone left behind. Other than things related to your objective, there are also notes with rumors about the town at night scattered around.
