Microsoft to honor existing agreements between Activision Blizzard & Sony following the acquisition

On Twitter, Head of Xbox Phil Spencer confirmed that Microsoft would honor existing agreements between Activision Blizzard and Sony following the recent acquisition. Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard is expected to close before June 2023. The Call of Duty franchise will continue to release on PlayStation but players can expect Xbox exclusives from Activision Blizzard as well. As Spencer stated, Sony is a important part of the industry and Microsoft values that relationship.
