SEGA announced today that they’ve established their SEGA Sapporo Studio based in Hokkaido, Japan! The studio began operations as SEGA’s second development base in December 2021 with Takaya Segawa serving as president. Segawa joined SEGA in 1992 and went on to develop games such as Phantasy Star Online 2. In 2021, Segawa would become Senior Executive Officer at SEGA.
