    Osaka, Japan, December 21st, 2021 – SNK CORPORATION is proud to announce THE KING OF FIGHTERS ’98 ULTIMATE MATCH FINAL EDITION on Steam received a major update today that greatly improves online functions.

    The update addresses many players’ wishes for a smoother online experience by implementing rollback netcode. Additionally, it also includes Online Lobbies that can hold up to nine players, and spectating modes so fans can watch your friends fight. Player feedback from the second Community Beta test was instrumental in delivering the best online functions possible.

    After “KOF ’98”, often praised by the fans as the best installment in the “KOF” series, and “KOF ’98 UM” 10 years later, “KOF ’98” has returned on the Steam PC gaming platform in an ultimate and final version with THE KING OF FIGHTERS ’98 ULTIMATE MATCH FINAL EDITION.
