Aniplex announced and signed an agreement to acquire the DELiGHTWORKS (Fate/Grand Order) game division through a corporate split. Aniplex acquired all shares to the related stake in the company and a new name for the acquired company will be announced at a later date. Additionally, the transaction is expected to complete sometime in Spring 2022. With the game division’s staff and developers, Aniplex aims to grow their gaming business moving forward. The development team of Fate/Grand Order at DELiGHTWORKS will be moved to the new company at Aniplex. The Fate/Grand Order production committee is made up of Aniplex, Type-Moon and the new company. Following the corporate split, DELiGHTWORKS will continue to operate outside of the gaming industry.
