Tencent acquires Wake Up Interactive, owners of Ninjala studio Soleil Ltd.

Tencent have acquired Wake Up Interactive after taking up a 90% stake of the company valuing over 5 billion yen (Thanks, Nibellion). The total purchase for the acquisition is currently unannounced at this time. Wake Up Interactive owns Soleil Ltd, a development studio based in Tokyo, Japan. Soleil is known for Switch games such as Ninjala, Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes and Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time to name a few. With this purchase, Tencent owns another Japan-based studio for future games.
