Bandai Namco released new details about Elden Ring focusing on the next-gen console versions (Thanks, Famitsu)! The new Souls-like game features 4K & 60fps performance options on PS5 and Xbox Series X. Players may choose a high resolution mode (4K at 30fps) or high performance mode that targets 60fps at a lower resolution. The Xbox Series S version supports both these modes with the resolution mode going up to 1440p instead of 4K. The PC version will support 4K at 60fps, of course. Additionally, the company confirmed that ray tracing is coming to the game in a future patch. Elden Ring releases February 25th for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Lastly, players may try out the game early with the network test starting November 12th.
