    Sword Art Online Progressive: Scherzo of Deep Night anime film premieres in 2022

    The official Sword Art Online Twitter account announced a second anime film for the Sword Art Online Progressive series! Sword Art Online Progressive: Scherzo of Deep Night premieres in 2022 across Japanese theaters. This film is a retelling of the first arc in the series based on the light novel by Reki Kawahara. Fans can catch up on Sword Art Online – Progressive: Aria of a Starless Night when it releases on December 3rd in the west. 2022 is looking to be another exciting year for fans of the franchise as DLC for Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris arrives soon.
