    Blue Reflection: Second Light free updates & Atelier Sophie 2 collaboration revealed

    Koei Tecmo updated the official Japanese website of Blue Reflection: Second Light! Various free updates are coming to the game starting on November 4th in Japan for PS4 and Switch. Updates to the Steam version will be provided at a later date. Free update #1 features a Photo mode and new filters.

    Free update #2 arrives on November 18th in Japan with new Photo mode features. This includes new frames and poses. Additionally, the update adds the new Photo Studio facility and “MUST DIE” difficulty option. MUST DIE difficulty serves as a big challenge to veteran JRPG players.

    Free update #3 arrives on December 9th in Japan and includes more filters and poses for Photo mode. Koei Tecmo also revealed a collaboration with Atelier Sophie 2: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Dream! Owning Blue Reflection: Second Light and having save data to the game unlocks Aio’s costume to wear in Atelier Sophie 2. By pre-ordering/owning Atelier Sophie 2, Blue Reflection: Second Light players earn Sophie’s outfit to wear in-game. Both collaboration costumes may be sold separately at a later date.

    Fans can expect these free updates and collaboration costumes to come to the west alongside the Atelier Ryza 2 costume for Blue Reflection: Second Light. Koei Tecmo should provide more details closer to the western launch of Blue Reflection: Second Light on November 9th. The Japanese version releases on October 21st for PS4 and Switch. Lastly, the Steam version arrives alongside the western launch on PS4 and Switch.
