The SEGA recruitment page has been updated with new job listings (Thanks, Burning_Orpheus)! The company is looking to hire programmers, artists and a new lead game designer for Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis. Additionally, game designer and character modeler positions are open for the general Phantasy Star series. SEGA is most likely bringing new talent in to help with developing new content for New Genesis such as:
- Enemies
- New characters
- Levels and regions
- Environments and effects
Server programmer positions are also open at the company for New Genesis. Preferred background for the aforementioned job positions include familiarity with online games, home console RPGs and games from the west (referred to as overseas games). Fans of the latest Phantasy Star game can look forward to new content such as classes, Scratch Tickets and more coming soon in free updates! Lastly, Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis is out now for PS4, Switch and PC in Japan and Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC in the west.
