God of War Ragnarok has officially been announced and we finally have a good look at the game. The game takes place a couple of years after the last one as the freezing winds of Fimbulwinter have made their way to Midgard. A big part of this game seems to be about Atreus understanding who he really is as Kratos tries to keep him safe. Freya returns as an antagonist in this game wanting revenge for the events of the first game, and Thor seems to be angry with them as well. The player will also be able to visit all nine realms, something only hinted at in the first game. The game will be the finale in the Norse saga as well. Check out the trailer below:
