SEGA announced that the September update is live in Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis! This new update brings autumn to the game starting today, September 1st! Players will notice that autumn colors are all around the Aelio region with falling leaves and more. Central City is also decorated to celebrate the season with a Japanese look and “Mischief Symbols” scattered. Collecting all the symbols unlocks a special reward! Outside of Central City, players can encounter new Moongaze Rappies and specially marked enemies.
Xiandy has arrived to Central City with limited-time event tasks, rewards and much more. By earning Seasonal Points, players can exchange the points for rewards. Additionally, a new autumn login bonus is in effect. The new “Moonlight Sanctuary” Scratch Ticket is live so players can draw to earn Japanese-inspired cosmetics. On September 15th, the “Silhouette of Darkness” Scratch Ticket comes to bring the darkness out of all players with sci-fi ninja and samurai cosmetics. Near the end of September, fans of the original PSO 2 can draw from the “Oracle Renewal Collection III” featuring outfits and cosmetics from characters like Io, Katori and more.
As previously announced, the Sonic Collaboration is now live in PSO 2: New Genesis! Players can earn various emotes, cosmetics and rewards from the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. More details about the collaboration are available via the official website. Players have a busy month ahead of them as the Bouncer class also makes it’s return to the game soon. Lastly, PSO 2: New Genesis is out now for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Windows 10, Steam and Epic Games Store.
