According to various industry reports and rumors, Horizon Forbidden West is slipping out of 2021. Sony has “decided and delayed” the upcoming game into Q1 2022. Hermen Hulst originally stated that Horizon Forbidden West would be on track to release this holiday season but isn’t quite certain as work on the game is still in progress. Although this is considered a rumor, we also believe that the delay is happening. Guerrilla needs some more time to work on the game following the shift to work from home. Additionally, lack of news within the past couple of months leads us to believe an official statement is coming soon.
