The Caligula Effect 2’s New Game+ update is out now in Japan, features a new dungeon

FuRyu announced today that a new update is out now for The Caligula Effect 2 in Japan! The new update features New Game+ which allows players to transfer their finished game save data to a new playthrough. This also includes money, items and Stigmas earned. Players can rematch musicians found in the sequel and face some difficult challenges too. Defeating these musicians reward rare Stigma. A new dungeon called Tower of Prometheus is also available with 100 levels. Players can’t upgrade or change equipment within the dungeon and can’t take any items with them. Hopefully these features are all included in the western release. Lastly, The Caligula Effect 2 releases on October 19th for PS4 and Switch in the west.
