Final Fantasy XIV voice actor Yuichi Nakamura says it seems like he “will have one less job” after finishing voice recordings for Endwalker, teases “something mindblowing”

During Washagana TV with Naoki Yoshida, Thancred’s voice actor Yuichi Nakamura from Final Fantasy XIV chimed in on his role for Endwalker. Nakamura states that he “usually has a picture of what comes next” with his work in Final Fantasy XIV’s expansions. However, that doesn’t seem to be the case as everything after update 6.0 is uncharted territory. Its the first time that Nakamura’s role following an expansion is unclear. He teases by saying “when I read the script, there was something mindblowing that’s coming”. Additionally, he states that he “will have one less job after this” [Endwalker]. This leads to a lot of speculation from fans involving Thancred and the role of the Scions during Endwalker. We can’t wait to what happens next after the end of the Hydaelyn and Zodiark!

Lastly, Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker releases on November 23rd. Stay tuned at Final Weapon for the latest Japanese gaming news and updates!
