Nikkei Taishu reports disagreements between SEGA and the talent agency of Judgment actor Takuya Kimura, SEGA wants a PC port of Lost Judgment but agency refuses it

In a new report from Japanese outlet Nikkei Taishu, there are disagreements between SEGA and the talent agency of Judgment actor Takuya Kimura. With strict policies in place at the talent agency, the agency does not want Lost Judgment on PC. This might be due to mods on PC where players could use the likeness of Takuya Kimura’s character, Takayuki Yagami, for their own uses. SEGA knows the PC market and Steam are unavoidable as a means of generating revenue at the company. Due to this, both companies are reportedly in disagreements and the worst case scenario could mean that Lost Judgment is the last game in the Judgment series. We hope the two parties work a solution out for the fans of Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio’s work.

Lastly, Lost Judgment releases on September 24th for for PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S worldwide. Stay tuned at Final Weapon for the latest Japanese gaming news and support us on Patreon!
