Atlus just released 25 minutes of gameplay footage for Shin Megami Tensei V! The developers also introduced the protagonist and Aogami. The protagonist is a 3rd year high school student from Tokyo. A tunnel collapses above him and sends him into a different Tokyo, the world known as Da’at. In Da’at, the mysterious man known as Aogami gives the protagonist two choices: to die in this wasteland, or fuse and become the forbidden being. The protagonist chooses to live and fuses with Aogami to become Nahobino, the forbidden being.
Shin Megami Tensei V features over 200 demons both old and new, made in Unreal Engine 4. These demons will be introduced over time before release on November 12th for Switch. Check out the new gameplay footage below:
