Sony published their recent financials report as of March 31st 2021. In the report, PS5 sold 7.8 million units worldwide. Sales of the new console are off to a strong start. On the other hand, PS4 reached 115.9 million units sold worldwide as it enters the 7th year in the worldwide market. The PS4 sold a million this past fiscal year and there’s a high likelyhood of it slipping under a million sold next year.
