Jujutsu Kaisen now has over 45,000,000 copies in circulation

    Published:

As of today, Jujutsu Kaisen officially has over 45,000,000 copies in circulation! This comes just after the series reaching 40,000,000 copies in circulation March 30th of this year! It is selling ridiculously fast, especially considering the series only had sold through 10 million copies on October 30th.

This massive spike is absolutely largely thanks to MAPPA’s anime adaptation of Jujutsu Kaisen which aired from October 2020 to March 2021 through 24 episodes. The anime covered Volume 1 through Volume 7, and MAPPA has confirmed a movie covering Volume 0, the prequel to Jujutsu Kaisen, is on the way this Winter. You can view the trailer for Volume 0’s movie adaptation below.

The series itself has been running since March of 2018 in Weekly Shonen Jump. There are 15 volumes published, as well as Volume 0, which serves as a prequel to the series. Volume 16 is set to be released on June 4th in Japan, while Volume 10 will release in the USA on June 1st.
