Rumor: Hideo Kojima is in talks with Microsoft for publishing of his next game according to VentureBeat

    Published:

In a new rumor from VentureBeat, sources close to Microsoft claim that Hideo Kojima is in talks with the company to publish his next game. There’s no concrete word on if Microsoft and Kojima reached a deal for the game but talks are floating around. Additionally, sources told VentureBeat that Microsoft is looking to “leverage Japanese talent” toward the company by bringing in Kojima for a new game. However, this should be considered only a rumor and/or speculation for now. It’s worth noting though that Phil Spencer did have a Ludens statue from Kojima Productions on his shelf. Spencer is known to tease many things ahead of time.
