It’s bad news after bad news for CD Projekt Red as they’ve delayed update 1.2 of Cyberpunk 2077. The update is now “aimed” at the second half of March. This delay is due to the recent cyberattack affecting the studio’s IT infrastructure according to CD Projekt Red. Currently, the company is also facing class action lawsuits for the release of the game last year.
While we dearly wanted to deliver Patch 1.2 for Cyberpunk 2077 in the timespan we detailed previously, the recent cyber attack on the studio’s IT infrastructure and extensive scope of the update mean this unfortunately will not happen — we’ll need some additional time. 1/3
