Hitman III has recouped development costs in less than a week according to IO Interactive

Hitman III is off to an insanely successful start as the game is profitable after just a week! The game already recouped all of the development costs according to IO Interactive. Hitman III is the first full game in the series self-published by IO Interactive so it’s a great benefit to the studio. This is what CEO Hakan Abrak had to say:

“It has been a labor of love between our fans and everyone at the studio. As the developer and publisher, we are immensely proud that we can say Hitman 3 is already profitable. We have recouped the total project costs in less than a week. That puts us in a really good place and allows us to confidently move forward with our ambitious plans for future projects.”

It’s great to see IO Interactive strive as they head toward developing multiple new projects including a James Bond game. In the meantime, stay tuned at Final Weapon for the latest gaming news and updates!
