SEGA has announced a new update for Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 coming on January 14th across all platforms! This update is huge and adds new content including:

Playable characters – Sonic, Lidelle, Ms. Accord and Ocean Prince
Boss battle mode with co-op
New item cards
New background music and much more
