    Sephiroth arrives as a playable DLC character on December 22nd for Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Sephiroth Challenge begins at 6:00 PM EST tonight

    Masahiro Sakurai finished detailing Sephiroth for Super Smash Bros Ultimate and it’s incredible! Sephiroth is coming to the game on December 22nd as part of Super Smash Bros Ultimate’s Fighter Pass Vol. 2. He includes 9 new songs including new arrangements from the Final Fantasy VII franchise. The Northern Cave stage is also a part of the DLC and features many references to the original Final Fantasy VII game and even Dissidia.

    However, players can test their might against Sephiroth in a special in-game challenge earlier! Starting today, December 17th at 6:00 PM EST, players can fight against him in the “Sephiroth Challenge” in various difficulty modes. This challenge ends on the 22nd when Sephiroth becomes a playable DLC character.

    New Mii Fighter Costumes of Aerith, Tifa, Barret, Geno and Chocobo (Hat) arrive in Super Smash Bros Ultimate on December 22nd alongside Sephiroth!
