SNK has surprised many today with a tease of a new console coming next year. The company states that the console is for their “passionate fans and console gaming enthusiasts”. SNK has released plenty of NEOGEO mini-consoles in the past year and a half or so. It’s possible that this could be a more modern NEOGEO mini-console with added functionality to entice fans and new players at once. From the teaser image, it seems like the Wi-Fi symbol could indicate online functionality for the new console. We will just have to wait and see once 2021 comes around.
