SEGA has announced that Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis closed beta begins in late January in Japan! The beta lasts from late January to sometime in February, giving players some time with the game. Players may use their existing PSO2 character data in the upcoming beta and may sign up here (Japan only).
Another beta will be announced at a later date and details for a beta in the west are yet to be announced. Lastly, PSO 2: New Genesis releases in 2021 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Windows 10 and Steam in the west. Stay tuned at Final Weapon for the latest Japanese gaming news and updates!
