Warner Bros has announced that the new Mortal Kombat movie premieres on April 16th in theaters and streaming via HBO Max! This new movie is a reboot and marks the 3rd movie tied to the Mortal Kombat franchise. In fact, its been nearly 23 years since the last movie, Mortal Kombat: Annihilation (1997). Many studios came and went with Mortal Kombat live-action series since then but not a full length film. Fans can expect the first trailer to arrive in early 2021 according to producer Todd Garner.
