Casey Hudson and Mark Darrah to officially leave Bioware – current projects such as Dragon Age 4 and Mass Effect: Legendary Edition will continue development

Electronics Arts has announced that both Casey Hudson and Mark Darrah will officially be leaving Bioware. Hudson who is the General Manager of Bioware, and Darrah who is the executive producer on Dragon Age 4 are two of the biggest names at Bioware right now. This isn’t the first time Casey Hudson has left Bioware either. In 2015 he left to pursue his own projects but later came back to the company.

EA has also announced that development on games such as Dragon Age 4 and Mass Effect: Legendary Edition will continue regardless of their departure. Matthew Goldman will still remain as the creative director for Dragon Age 4 and oversee the project. While Mike Gamble will still led the team on the Mass Effect collection.

Both departing employees both had statements that you can read here and here! Both go over why they left the company and both wish all upcoming projects the best of luck!
