Japan’s hardware sales numbers for the first week of next-gen are here! According to Famitsu, the PS5 sold 118,085 in the first four days and Xbox Series X|S sells 20,534 units sold in the first six days. Both platforms sold out quickly in the first week and face shortages to come through the rest of 2020. Japanese retailers are resorting to lottery-based sales but sales are going to increase as the holidays approach.
