Switch continues to set records for Nintendo and this time, it dates back to the Nintendo DS era. NPD states that Switch has sold more units in Q3 2020 than any other platform since the DS in 2009. It’s an incredible feat for Nintendo and driven by evergreen titles like Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Additionally, new releases like Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, No More Heroes 1 and 2 and Pikmin 3 Deluxe help boost sales. Holiday 2020 should be a strong showing for Nintendo too.
